Your Xbox Series won’t turn on?
You press the button and there is no light or sound, or it turns on for a second and shuts down. It may be the power supply or the board: we check it and tell you what is wrong.
Why an Xbox Series won’t turn on
The most common cause is an internal power supply fault, from a power surge or heat. There may also be board damage or, if it shuts down after a while, overheating from dust.
What to try first
Unplug the console for a few minutes and try another power cable and another wall outlet, without a power strip. The official Xbox support has more steps. If it still won’t turn on, it needs a diagnosis.
Diagnosis and power supply and board repair
We measure the power supply and check the board, and give you a quote before starting. We work on Xbox Series X and S: see the Xbox Series repair. If it turns on but overheats, the maintenance and cleaning is the way to go.
How we work
The workshop is at Pedernera 360, Flores, Buenos Aires. We check the device, explain what is wrong and what the fix is before starting. The warranty is 1 month on maintenance and 3 months on board repairs. If the same fault comes back, we fix it free of charge. To get started, message us with the model and the fault.
Frequently asked questions
Will my games be erased if you replace the power supply?
No. The power supply doesn’t touch the storage: games and saves stay as they were.
My Xbox Series turns on and shuts down right away, what is wrong?
It may be the power supply, the temperature or the board. The diagnosis tells us which one.
Does the diagnosis cost anything?
No: the diagnosis is free, except for “won’t turn on”, power supply or processor reballing faults, which require working on the board. In those cases we give you a quote before starting.
What warranty does the repair have?
1 month on maintenance and 3 months on micro-electronics and board repairs. If the same fault comes back, it is fixed free of charge.
Where is the workshop?
At Pedernera 360, Flores, City of Buenos Aires. Open Monday to Friday 10 am–6 pm and Saturdays 9 am–3 pm.
